DU LLB Entrance 2021 Syllabus – Download Subject Wise Syllabus

DU LLB Entrance Exam is conducted by Central Admission Committee, University of Delhi to select the candidates for admission in LLB programs. It will be tentatively held in the month of June 2021.

These three colleges (Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I, and Law Centre-II) will accept DU LLB entrance exam scores. The test will be held online for two hours across 18 cities in India. The test carries 400 marks. Based on merit and cut off, candidates will appear for counselling. The counselling process will be followed by admission fee submission and later commencement of the new session.

Registration window for the examination is expected to open in the month of April 2021.

DU LLB Entrance Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For admissions to Faculty of Law, Delhi University, candidates should meet the academic qualification and minimum marks requirements as per their categories are given below:

  • General Category: Candidates holding a graduation/ post-graduation degree from Delhi University or any other recognized Indian/foreign university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • OBC Category: Candidates passing graduation/ post-graduation from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks.
  • SC/ST Category: Candidates passing graduation/post-graduation from a recognised university with at least 40% aggregate marks.
  • CW Category: Candidates who come under widows/ wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW) category are given a 5% marks relaxation, which means they must have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree.
  • PH Category: Candidates holding a graduation/ post-graduation degree from Colleges accepting DU LLB scores and Seats Intake

The entrance exam is conducted for law centres of DU only, therefore the colleges accepting DU LLB scores are – Campus Law Centre, Law Centre I, and Law Centre II located in Chhatra Marg, Delhi. The category-wise seat for LLB courses offered at all three law centres is as under:

NOTE:

  • The instruction guide will be in both Hindi and English.
  • Paper will be of 2 hours and all questions will be MCQ based.
  • Each right answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.
  • Paper will be divided into 4 sections- General Knowledge, English Language, Analytical Abilities and Legal awareness and aptitude.

DU LLB 2021 Syllabus

Syllabus for the DU LLB entrance test covers questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The GK and Legal Aptitude section will carry the highest weightage in the law entrance exam. The details regarding each course in order of their weightage is provided below:

General Knowledge

The syllabus is usually very vast and varied for this section. This section will include questions from both General Knowledge as well as Current Affairs. This section aims to test the grammatical knowledge of candidates. Candidates have to answer questions based on the main theme of the passage as well as some of the keywords present in the passage. Some of the important topics to be covered under this section are:
