Reet Syllabus and Exam Pattern – Download 2021 Pdf

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is been conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) to select the eligible candidate for the post of Grade III teachers in Rajasthan.

The structure of REET exam is divided into two levels, I and II. Candidates can appear for both the levels or either one.

Level I comprise five sections and Level II comprise four sections. Three sections in each level are common subjects with a slight difference in the topics.

REET Exam Pattern 2021

BSER conducts REET Examination to provide the eligibility certificate to teachers who aspire to teach in primary and upper primary schools.

REET Level I (Class 1 to V) comprise the following sections:

– Child Development and Pedagogy
– Environmental Studies
– Language I
– Language II
– Mathematics

REET Level II (Class 6 to 8) comprises the following sections:

– Child Development and Pedagogy
– Language 1
– Language 2
– Mathematics and Science

There is No Negative marking in the exam for the wrong answers.

REET Level-I and Level-II syllabus have some differences which are given below:

  • In place of environment studies, we have two different subject combinations that include:

social science and science & mathematics.

-Mathematics and Science are for Maths and Science teachers (Science Background students).
– Social Science for Art Background students who want to become Social Science teachers.

 

  • General Knowledge (GK) has been included in the EVS section related to Rajasthan according to the Latest change in the exam pattern.
  • Child Development and pedagogy remain the same for both Levels.

RTET 2021 – Tips and Tricks

  • Go through all the previous years’ question papers. Analyse yourself where you stand in terms of preparation
  • Keep revising the topics till your exam, don’t be over confident
  • Track your preparation by practicing mock test series and previous years question papers
  • Do not ignore any topic, try to complete the entire syllabus
  • Brush up everything you have studied before the exam
  • Try to attempt questions with accuracy in the exam. Candidates should answer all questions as there is no negative marking in RTET exam.
  • Do not spend much time in one section, divide your time as per the level the sections in exam.
