Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) is conducted by International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT).
The examination is conducted for admission to a 5-year dual degree (B.Tech. + MS) programme offered at the institute. Candidates can get admission into the following programmes:
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering and Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering by Research (CSD)
- Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering by Research (ECD)
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computational Linguistics by Research (CLD)
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computational Natural Sciences by Research (CND)
There will be 2 sections namely Subject Proficiency Test (SUPR) and Research Aptitude Test (REAP). Section I will include questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics while Section II will include critical and creative thinking questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

IIIT UGEE Exam Pattern 2021
Admission to the institutes will be done based on the entrance exam score and interview performance.
- The entrance exam (UGEE) will be conducted in two parts as under:
- Part/ Section 1 – Subject Proficiency Test
- Part/ Section 2 – Research Aptitude Test
- All the questions will be of Multiple-Choice type.
- The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours (1 hour for Section-1 and 2 hours for Section-2).
- The exam will be conducted through computer-based mode.
